What more can he give?
How much more should he bleed?
He suffered and died so that you could live,
How much more does it take?
How much more must he give?
He gave his ALL
His flesh, his blood
Poured out his life
Beneath the flood
Of hate and hurt seeking his death
Spread wide his arms, gave up his breath.
He breathed his last in love that day
Wrapped in your sin and God turned away
Forsaken by Him
In darkness he drowned
But he defeated that darkness
That you might be crowned
Eternal life from the nails and cross
The cold of the grave for we who are lost
What more do you want?
What more does it take?
What else can he give
For you to make
A decision to trust and risk it all
It cost him so much
To stop your fall
